The Advisor Advises

I recently discovered in one of Z's "Bright and Early Board Books" what I think might be the first blog, or should I say blogg? This picture from Dr. Suess's Surprising Word Book, "The Shape of Me and Other Stuff" seems to allude to the original 'blogg' as being a long-necked, broad snooted biped. I'm not one to argue with Dr. Suess, but I think if a blog were a creature, it would probably be more of a pale-faced, stubble-wearing, cola-drinking biped. This book was published in 1973, that might explain it...
