This was intriguing, and very bizarre at the same time.

If you're ever in southern Wisconsin, you've got to stop and check this out. The House on the Rock is expensive (19.50 USD) to get in to, but it's just something that has to be seen.
If the official website doesn't quite peak your interest, google House on the Rock to see what others are saying,

...on vacation

We're in Winnipeg tonight. Regina last night. A rockin' vacation thus far.
Actually, we're having fun.
We were in Canmore for the first 2 nights. Cool little town, especially if you stay for free at your parent's time share. Nice visit with mom & dad. Nice beer sampler at the Grizzly's Paw Microbrewery... I'm a sucker for the raspberry beer. Then we tried to find a hotel room in Moose Jaw, but apparently everyone in Saskatchewan but us knew about the Moose Jaw air show. We finally got our overheated and crying toddler to the Travelodge in Regina, and the desk clerk took pity on us and gave us the 'family funeral' rate, or something like that. We saved 50 bucks and Z got to swim in the pool. Not a bad deal. (TIP: if you ever have an overheated, crying, yet still really cute toddler...send him in to check for availablity while you wait in the car.)
Houston's pizza is good. Expensive, but good.
Saw a cool t-shirt today at the SK tourism rest stop. "Saskatchewan. Hard to spell, easy to draw." Made me laugh. They also had a lot of Corner Gas apparel.
We're swapping the un-air-conditioned car for an air-conditioned minivan for the main part of our vacation. Praise the Lord.
